Why ViMS ?

The first software system for technological integration , multi-platform, multi-site, with distributed architecture, born for the Control Rooms of the Italian Police Forces.

ViMS control room platform has been designed and carried out in order to manage large video surveillance installations and transit control, dedicated to the urban and extra-urban areas protection. It is in use in many Control Rooms of the Police Forces and control centers of various types.

It is safe and compliant with all the regulations in force: it is not limited to a simple encrypting of video recordings, information and user’s rights, but implements a true certified digital signature, by the most advanced industrial standards.

ViMS platform integrates different typology devices, particularly video cameras IP mounted, and automatic plate numbers recognition systems; moreover it integrates video recording systems, analogical and digital matrixes, digital/analogical decoders. Besides, it backups a protocol for the video streaming and warnings exchange, by scene analysis systems and, in general, by different suppliers components.

ViMS is easily customizable: it has been completely conceived and designed by an Italian software house which, having the full ownership of the source code and knowing perfectly the realities of the Control Rooms, is in the position to carry out any update and technical-functional improving, directly and easily.
